FOMITE

Behold, the Garden is like the return of local farms and farmer’s markets, to local growth and being connect in a more sustainable, traditional fashion, to our home, this planet. In tune with the work included in this book, each separate, yet connected to the other — the voices of the young writers, Greg Delanty’s voice, and the work of the local publisher, Fomite — all intimate a spirit biosphere in response to how we humans are affecting the Earth. 


About the Author

Greg Delanty is the author and editor of more than twenty poetry books. He teaches at Saint Michael’s Collage, Vermont. He has received many awards, including a Guggenheim for poetry. In 2021 he was awarded The David Ferry & Ellen LaForge Poetry Prize. He is considered both a US/Vermont poet as well as an Irish poet. His work is frequently anthologized and broadcast. Recently one of his poems, “The Alien”, appeared in Wes Anderson’s movie, Asteroid City. He has poems forthcoming in numerous venues, including The Irish Times and The Best American Poetry 2025.
