FOMITE

As they face being put out, penniless, on the streets of New York in winter, Garret and Holly must scrape along in the pains of sickness and desperation for an answer.  Through failure, calamity and poor judgment, Garret ends up in Holly’s West Virginia hometown where he is brought to a reckoning of bizarre proportion as his life and the lives around him entangle and unthread in a big-city/small-town clash with madness and despair.  

About the Author

Born and raised in New York’s Hudson Valley, Christopher Heffernan has spent his life traveling and working while writing.  His poetry and fiction have been placed in magazines and journals around the country such as The Believer, The Writer’s Journal, the South Dakota Review, Whiskey Island, 34th Parallel, and the Madison Review to name only a few.  He has two books of poetry, Rag Water and (laughter), and a book of short stories titled Violin Making On Mars. 

 He currently resides in New York City.
